So after two days of broken spectacles, face injuries and a lot of truth-or-dare in the evening, the SSAJ’s winter trip came to an end on the evening of the 20th of December.
We first set off from Shinjuku on the cold winter morning of the 19th and reached the ski-resort at Sugadaira-koen around noon. After that it was simply two days for skiing/snowboarding for those who knew how to and finding one’s feet literally for those who didn’t.
Many of our members did manage to at least learn how to basically ski/snowboard after the two days though. Plus, the very fact that it was real natural snow (very important for Singaporeans!) was a big plus. But the most important thing was that we had great fun falling down and talking trash in the evening and stuffing our faces with food at dinner and breakfast.
We’d like to thank all those who participated for making the time so enjoyable and we hope that you come again for SSAJ events! This brings an end to a very eventful SSAJ year and we hope that the next year ahead will be equally enjoyable and full of interesting things!
