The Mid-Autumn Festival event this year was attended by more than 30 members, making it one of our most successful events. Interestingly, the venue for this event was decided after Avena typed in 秘密のデートスポット（secret dating venue) and indeed, the picnic area featured a spectacular view of Tokyo Bay and just the right amount of secrecy. With moon cakes, curry and the scenic night-view of Odaiba, members spent a relaxing few hours celebrating the Mid-Autumn festival, Singaporean-style. While our attempts to light up fireworks were thwarted by health and safety regulations, the evening still ended on a high note with the bright lights from FujiTV tower illuminating our way along the beach.
