April Event 2016: Hanami By The River

In April, we organized a picnic under the blooming sakura by Sumida River in Asakusa. This activity is traditionally known as a hanami, literally flowering-watching, where people would gather under the beauty of sakura trees in full bloom to enjoy nature and good company.

Although it rained earlier in the morning that day, we had managed to get a good spot to lay our mats and proceeded to enjoy mingling with the accompaniment of snacks and drinks, as well as wandering along Sumida River to get a few shots of ourselves with sakura in the backdrop. (Everyone needs a seasonal profile picture right?) We hope that everyone had walked away with good memories, if not good photos of themselves.
