Singapore Students' Association (Japan) – SSAJ

The SSAJ flagship event of the year 2011, the ski and snowboarding trip, organized by us together with Contact Singapore, was successfully held on 16-18December 2011 at Sugadaira Kogen Ski Resort in Nagano Prefecture. It was a load of fun and good company and we thank every single one of the participants for helping us make the by far BIGGEST SSAJ event a success! (:

Alas, it seemed that the maple leaves were a little late in changing their colours, but the bunch of us who went down to Nokogiriyama sure made a lot of friends, had a good amount of exercise and most importantly, had fun! (:

The Singapore Students’ Reception in Japan, hosted by Ambassador Tan Chin Tiong was held on 29 October in the Singapore Embassy in Japan. Click to see the details!

The ASEAN Sports Festival 2011 was held last Sunday, and it was a sport-filled day for participants from ASEAN countries, especially for Singaporeans who don’t get to play badminton or table tennis all the time in Japan!

The trip to Mt Fuji was held on 6 August 2011 and although the view from the volcano wasn’t all that great, great company and lots of other activities made the trip a fun-filled one (: Click here to see the details!

Our “summer madness” was held on Sunday, 26th June 2011 and we had a blast singing 4 hours worth of Karaoke, and great company for dinner held afterwards.

The 6th ASEAN Festival was held on 19th June, at the Komamba International House, and the SSAJ Exco would like to give a big THANK YOU for all those who contributed to the event. For exciting updates, click here!

The 2011 GE was indeed an event that bonded Singaporeans in spirit and soul.
