Singapore Students' Association (Japan) – SSAJ

We had a lucky draw this year at our first Christmas and New Year Party, and we had a lot of fun!  (We all gained two kilos!)

The end of year reception organised by the embassy was a great success as we all caught up with fellow students and established new ties.

This year, we had a fantastic turnout for the Students Reception organised by the Singapore Embassy. We all had a treat and stuffed ourselves with Chicken Rice, Satay and Red Bean Soup.

This year’s AYNJ Festival attracted even more people than previous years’. We engaged the help of Hainan-Chifan to sell Chicken Rice on our behalf and we heard “Oishii!” coming from the mouths of all who had a taste of the absolutely delicious Chicken Rice. This year’s Golden Fiesta was a casual event. It started out with Karaoke and then we took a walk in Shibuya before ending up in Krispy Kreme Doughnuts after dinner. It was a blast (and I think some of our stomachs were kind of “blasted” with all the doughnuts we ate.)

We met many new faces today at the Hanami held in Shinjuku Gyoen! It was great that everyone had fun talking to each other.
